What requirements do I need to join?
A valid driver’s license from your relevant state of residence within Australia.
Are there any extra costs?
The only extra costs apart from subscription costs are our establishment fee and bond.
Is there any flexibility in when I make my subscription payments?
Yes – you can choose to pay your subscription in weekly, fortnightly or monthly installments.
Can I drive as many kilometres as I like?
Each subscription plan has a kilometre limit – choose your subscription plan according to how many kilometres you expect to drive each week
Are all the cars brand new?
Yes – Australian Car Subscriptions only deals with brand new vehicles.
Is there a minimum subscription period?
Minimum subscription period of 30 days across all plans.
How often can I change vehicles?
There are no limits on how often you can change vehicles. Should your requirements change, we’ll accommodate them with another brand new car to suit your needs.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes – that’s the beauty of a car subscription: no long-term lock-in commitment!
Can you use the car for uber?
You cannot use your subscription vehicle for Uber.
What if I go over the kms?
Excess KM’s usage applies at $0.33 per km above allocated KM allowance.
What if I go on holidays and leave the car at home? Do I still have to pay?
Yes, that payments will continue to be debited while you have possession of the vehicle.
How much is the excess?
$3,500 but can be reduced down to $1,500 for an extra cost of $30 per week.
Why does the price on your website show different to what you are quoting me?
Pricing on our website shows the lowest possible price, vehicle availability and KM packages can change the end cost of your package.
What if I get a door ding or scratch but I didn’t do it? Do I still have to pay?
Yes, you are responsible for the car while its in your possession.
Is the establishment fee refundable?
No, the establishment fee covers the cost of establishing the subscription.
Do the weekly km's carry over? Or do they reset every week?
KM’s used is calculated at the end of your billing cycle. The best way to maximise your KM allowance is to setup the subscription on a Monthly payment cycle, therefore if you don’t use the KM allowance in one week it will roll over until the monthly billing cycle ends. If you decide on a weekly payment cycle and you don’t use you allocated KM’s for that week you lose them.
Do you deliver the car?/airport pickup?
No, pickup only from either of our two sites Caroline Springs or Melton.
Can I subscribe on an international licence?
Yes, on a valid international licence that’s written in English.
Are there age restrictions when subscribing a car?
Yes, minimum valid Australian (P2 and above) drivers licence and maximum age of 75.
